These are intended to be used as a basis for making your own stained glass tiles. Here are the basic instructions:
Open the stained glass file.
Open a new file that is either the same size as the stained glass object, or a multiple of the stained glass object. (For example, if the object is 256x256, then you can open a new file that is 512x512.)
Make a colored, seamless background on the new file. My favorite method is to use the particle pen with a size around 50, and in the advanced tab on the tool setting panel, multicolor with all three settings around 10. Fill in the center of the file, menu/web/shift image, fill in the center (repeat until whole image is filled in.
Go to the stained glass file and press ctrl-c to copy it.
Go to the new file, select all, convert to object (preserve base image must be checked). Ctrl-f to bring up the fill dialog. On the image tab, select clipboard and tile - press OK.
In the layer manager, change the merge mode to overlay. (Try out all the merge modes to find one you like!)
If you are using a colored stained glass tile, you might want to make it monochrome.
If you are using a gray (monochrome) tile, you might want to use the colorize brush on it. Different colors on the stained glass make for different effects in the various merge modes.
