I really like the patterns you can get from those edging scissors - used by scrapbookers, so I decided to make some PI vectors similar to those.  That was cool, but then I decided I wanted it to be a font so I could apply text wrap effects to it. 

While I was making font patterns, it dawned on me that the shapes were all either half a diamond, or circles or ovals, so I decided to make the font with just various sharp points and half circles/ovals.  That turned out really well, except then I didn't know which keys to press to make a nice pattern, so I decided to make a program to generate random edges.  That works really well.
