1. Download the zip file containing Crabby Edges font  here.  Extract it to your windows\fonts subdirectory.
2. If you want the program that generates random edges from the Crabby Edges font, you can download the CrabbyEdgerSmall.zip (241 K) file.  This requires that the CrabbyEdges font is already installed.  Unzip the contents of the zip file into a separate subdirectory, then run setup.exe.  Once successfully installed, you can delete this directory.
3. Chances are, you already have the Visual Basic 6 runtime files on your system.  If you get a message when installing the Crabby Edger program about required files not being available, you can download and install the VB runtime files from the Microsoft site here: VB6 Runtime files.  Then re-run the Crabby Edges installer.
4. Terms of use:  you are welcome to use both the font and the program.  Please do not re-distribute them.  I retain copyright to CrabbyEdges.ttf and the CrabbyEdger program (edging.exe).
